Ipswich Greyhound Ratings Online Now

The Greyhound System Selections Available every day. Full race card from selected meetings What a morning! I was all set to upload the new Greyhound ratings, results from our system testing and the rules for this great greyhound selection proccess. I wanted to show you the great returns it has been pulling off with the exotics not to mention a pretty good strike rate picking winners. You guessed it my main workstation crashed, it was the only machine with the web site editor on it. So basically I have been busy all day setting up a new machine from scratch. As a result I have only managed to upload the selections which have so far today produced 2 winners and 2 quinella/exacta's from 4 races. Make that 3 quinella/exactas. I will be busy later this evening and tommorow catching up with the rest of the content I have planned for the site. I hope you have some fun with these greyhound selections, I know we are. Pulled off 3 First 4's for a return of $1059.30 from $480 last night from our selections. Dont forget the ARF Gallop ratings tommorow. Go to AAI Racing and join now.

NEW ! Greyhound Ratings

Well as promised the much awaited greyhound ratings are due for release on Tuesday for the Ipswich meeting make sure you visit AAI Racings rating page
You should be able to have quite abit of fun with this selection method. It is showing a reasonable win strike rate and getting the odd trifecta and even a First 4.

Post Motem Sandown/ The AFR Ratings

The Sandown Guineas
How unlucky was Lucky Thunder, I have watched the replay over and over again and I still think to this minute The Unlucky Thunder could of won this race.We did how ever have the first four highlighted in our comment regardless of the skinny dividends for all the combinations.

The Classic
If you had abit of the skinny odds on offer ($2.05) for Zipping you would of been having heart pulputations, it really did look like a beaten horse 200m out, neverless he won. Baughurst didnt perform and to me it looks like it is ready for a big long spell in a nice lush green paddock some where.

The Ratings
Abit of a mixed bag with the ratings yesterday although it still made a profit on level stakes 5 selections for 2 winners
Total outlay $500 for a return of $630. If you had taken the price both of the winners returned $4.20 Top Fluctuation which would of produced a return of $840. Zipping missed out on being a top rater by 2 points.

Sandown Comment/ Ratings

The Sandown Guineas
From a punters perspective 3 year old races like this are not the easiest to pick a winner from, but let’s see what we can come up with.
Stokehouse Craig Williams for David Hayes found form over the 1800m trip in the Myer fashion Stakes last start.
Current favourite Caymans Kerin McEvoy for Peter Snowden has been knocking on the door with a 4th in the G3 carbine Club Stakes, a 3rd in the Winning edge 3 yo Cup and 2nd in the AJC Ming Dynasty
Also in the betting is Lucky Thunder Dwayne Dunn for Danny O’Brien running second in the Carbine Club
The other horse that seems to have improved is Marveen Luke Nolen for Robert Smerdon. She won the Lexus Fillies stakes last start. She is a winner at this track back on the 24/11/07 nearly a year ago in the 1000m Merson Cooper stakes.
Arjuna M Rodd for John Collins ran 2nd in the Hilton International Stakes in her 2nd start as a 3 y old.
These are my top four from this race and I think I will put Lucky Thunder on top to take out this event.

The Sandown Classic
This race is more like it and I am going to put Zipping on top to win with the trip a lot more suitable and also the fact he has won at the 2400m here at Sandown before is a big plus. I just think this is his race. For second I am going to nominate Baughurst another proven performer at Sandown and with a 1.9 length 3rd last start he should be right up there at the finish again. Third place I think we put in Light Vision also another proven performer at Sandown over this distance.

Make sure you visit our ratings page by clicking on this posts heading.

Good Luck & Happy Punting

NEW Look for AAi Racing

The upgrade of the main site is well and truly under way with easier to read pages and convenient navigation on each page. The reviews are also starting to be uploaded, with information regarding Auspunt, The Grey Horse Bot, Sporting Bet, International All Sports and Betfair advantage already published. We are still continuing to add more material so keep an eye out here or even better still join up to receive our newsletter. Its Wednesday again all ready so hopefully we might get some selections from the AFR although I noticed this morning that no races are available to rate in Sydney they are 3 year old events, lets see what we come up with in Bendigo. Coming soon are some ratings for the Greyhounds what a great start to this little system I built. Monday night @ Wentworth Park it achieved a 60% win strike rate, I really don't think it can continue to achieve this but lets hope with a bit more fine tuning I can keep it over the 50%. The lay system I am working on at the moment is also coming along quite well. I am going to run it on the bot and produce some video footage so you can get an insight as to how it all works. Until the next post good luck and happy punting
Cheers
Glen

The Grey Horse Software Product Review

Part 1 of the Grey Horse Bot review has been posted @ AAI Racing. Visit us to read all the details. Simply click on this posts header to navigate to the review page. With test under way and some great videos in the making of the bot operating you can start now by reviewing some of the features this program has to offer.

All Silent Wins The Emirates Stakes

Well hasnt All Silent hit his straps what an explosive finish from this Grahame Begg trained 5 year old gelding. The Emirates stakes was his 11th start for now 5 wins. Talk has it that he is now headed for the paddock for a let up although he is nominated for events in Perth and Hong Kong. Sea Battle put in a big effort to run 2nd (keep a eye out for this fellow) and the ever consistent Mimi Lebrock who ran 3rd was another great run. I had Bank Robber on top yesterday and was a bit disapionted that he did not finish the race off after he hit the front 200 out, never mind thats racing!

AFR (The Ratings) Results

We had 5 selections yesterday here are the results
Saturday 8th Nov 2008
Randwick Race 7
No. 4 Dandee Topwin 3rd $1.70
Flemington Race 4
No. 4 Rockwood unplaced
Flemington Race 8
No. 2 Tan Tat De Lago 2nd $2.70
Flemington Race 9
No. 2 Light Vision 2nd $1.60
Flemington Race 10
No 10 Rightfully Yours 1st $3.10/$1.50
It seems at the moment the simple rating system we have made is great at picking place getters in fact it is showing a strike rate of 79.8% backing each selection for the place.
Winners on the other hand are only showing a 24.8% strike rate.
We are making some improvements to our rating tables soon and it will be interesting to see how it goes. Please visit our main site if you are interested in learning more.

New articles are still being posted and other major changes including a new look layout are being implemented Thanks for your Patience

AFR Selections For Saturday 8/11/08

The AFR (AAI Racing Free Ratings)
Here are our AFR Top Raters for Saturday . Please visit http://www.internetbettingarticle.com/ratings.html to find out more.
Saturday 8th Nov 2008
Randwick Race 7
No. 4 Dandee Topwin
Flemington Race 4
No. 4 Rockwood
Flemington Race 8
No. 2 Tan Tat De Lago
Flemington Race 9
No. 2 Light Vision

Emirate Stakes

Race 7 The Emirate Stakes Group 1 1600m
There are some great horses going around in this race with quite a few that I have rated on top. Mimi Lebrock trained by Bart (The Cup King) Cummings who got beaten 2.7 lengths in the Myer Classic over the same trip carrying 57kg and now with only 53 kg in this I am looking for quite an improvement. The other horse Bank Robber trained by Gai Waterhouse isn’t here just to have a look around. Last start 2nd beaten 1.3 lengths by Theseo in the Group 3 Epsom Hcp over 1600m. Don’t let the fact that this horse hasn’t had a run since then put you off, if you have a look at its form I think Gai is spacing’s his runs to suit. There are 3 more I like here the Mark Kavanagh trained Sea Battle whose form is excellent winning the Jayco Crystal Mile last start. The next horse is Conquering that ran second to Sea Battle in that race and finally Serious Speed dropping 5.5 kg from a gallant 1.8 lengths 4th in the Tristarc Stakes which was won by Mimi Lebrock. I feel that any of these 5 could really give this a shake.

Samantha Miss

Well this is definitely not a fly by night filly ! What a class act, I really thought that she was in a little bit of trouble today in running, but class prevailed. No excuses for any of the other runners,I liked the run from Allez Wonder and really think that you should keep an eye on her in the future. If you visited Auspunt and read my comment for The Oaks, I picked the trifecta even though you would of spent $60 for a $187.50 return. If you're interested my comments for this Saturday should be posted some time tomorrow

Crown Oaks

Its all eye's on the girls today with pin up filly Samantha Miss going around in the Oaks today. After a massive run in the Cox Plate and back to her own class today she really does look the one to beat. I have posted my tips & comment at http://www.auspunt.com if you want to take a look. Want to have a bet today make sure you visit our featured bookmakers on the left hand side of this blog. Good luck today

The First Product Review Results

I am excited to announce that I have been able to post the first of the product review results. Although it is limited information at the moment. There is plenty more to come. I published a rating system the other day outlining the basics of compiling selection criteria, currently it has only covered a few meetings so at this stage I am unsure how well it will work but I have posted the results and will continue to do so. If time permits I will grab some historical data and apply my rules to it and see how it goes. You can view all of these articles on our site.

Clerk of the course

Sitting watching the races today something caught my eye, 2 or 3 horses playing up going into the barriers. Whats new! well the clerk of the course at Eagle Farm. What a teriffic job she did getting these horses to load quickly by coaching them in with her mount. It is really refreshing to see horsemanship of this nature. she will probably never even see my praise that I have written here but any way I would like to say well done!

Ratings Explained

More new content for the website. Along with all of the other great feature we are incorporating on the aairacing website, we are pleased to announce that we have started a rating system. Refered to as "AFR" it is a basic rating system that we have put together to show you the principles behind compiling ratings for various meetings. So dont be critical of it performance even though we will continue to publish the results. Basically the whole purpose of this excercise is to outline the fundementals that others base their systems on and give you some background that you can use to personally biuld your own system with. I hope you enjoy this and all further postings on "Understanding Ratings"

24 hrs 7 days a week, Aah racing ya got a love it! this is not a job its a lifestyle and passion, sitting here at my desk with only 3 hrs sleep. 5 cups of coffee and a energy drink in the fridge for later on. Betfair Reviews Coming Soon

How many times have you seen favourites beaten? More times than you can count! Well why not take advantage of this all so often occurrence, How you ask? Betfair one of the world’s largest online traders is your answer. Just this afternoon we have laid 6 losing’s fav’s from as many races and made a nice little profit to boot.(100% to be exact) Being able to lay horses is the best thing since sliced bread. But with all investments of this nature make sure your selection criteria is sound.
With the advent of Betfair, it is now possible to trade on this level with ease. How does it work I hear you ask. Basically Betfair is an online trading venue and people all over the world put up prices on the predicated outcome of events. Horse racing, greyhounds, trots, football and a range of over events. Unlike the TAB’s and bookmakers Betfair doesn’t have a pool of money which it pays out from, all of the money comes from the people investing on the events. So simply put it is like betting against each other.
The beauty with this is that you can invest on an outcome not happening, “like the favorite in a race is not going to win.” So instead of investing on a horse in that race you think is going to win or run a place you put in a bid saying that you think a horse is going to lose, if someone thinks that the horse you have selected will win you have a matched wager, this means that if your horse loses you collect. The other advantage of this is that you can chose the price that you want to lay the selection at, obviously the short the price the smaller the amount is that you will risk losing if the horse does win. When you place a lay wager with Betfair you can instantly see what your liability and possible profit is in the corner of the bet slip.
There are so many possibilities with a Betfair account and over the next few days we will be posting some really in depth reviews of how you can use this product. Please call back to check them out.

Review Statistics (Coming Soon)

With a new server being installed and my data base well and truly being close to fully operational we will now be able to trial even more betting products. With access to historical results from the last 2 years of racing, we should now be able to offer some pretty good indications on whether or not a system works. It is going to be an interesting project and I am really looking forward to it, please if you have any feedback please drop us a line and keep checking our site for the latest.

Spreading The Risk

This article finds us looking at a practice that has been applied to many business ventures through out time. There are plenty of scenarios that can be applied to this practice, here are a couple I have come across.
Horse racing systems and there are plenty. Can you make money from any given system? The answer is yes, but there is a catch. To be successful with any one system you would need a massive starting capital, now let’s face it how many people can afford to do this, only a select few. So as with most investors staring out in racing the only real way to win is to make small amounts from different methods, investors call this "spreading your risk" and it works for them and it will work for you as well. I remember well a conversation I had with a gentleman at one of yearling sales and I quote him as saying “It always amazes me why you would spend $500000 to a $1000000 dollars on 1 horse when with that sort of money you can purchase 10 or even maybe 20 horses” His thinking of course was that he had more chances of being successful with his purchases than his counterparts buying just one horse. It stands to reason if that 1 horse worth 1 million dollars was not successful the money is wasted, my friend of course, if one horse did not shape up to his expectations he still had 19 other horses going through the their paces. He always had results and all though I have not had direct contact with him in years I still hear on the grape vine he is doing well with his approach to purchasing and racing horses.
Now the same applies to the investor. To be successful we need to make a profit. It would be all well and good if this was possible from just one source, but as we have out lined it is too much of a risk to have all of your eggs in one basket. Lets concentrate on making small profits from various avenues, to start with go to our web site and review all of the systems and say pick out 2 or 3 that you like, if possible perform a dry run so that you feel confident with them. Now armed with a few different avenues you have more chance of making a profit. Don’t aim to high to start with as long as a profit is made that is all you are looking for to start with. Always invest within your means. Please make sure you read all of our other articles, I am sure that it will give you a fresh and successful approach to gaining a winning edge.

Automated Trading Software

The Greyhorse bot.
We have been trialing the Greyhorse bot for over a month now. If you are serious about making a profit from racing this is the best piece of software that you can get. Easy to use, completely safe, links to both Betfair and Betdaq, backs, lays, trades, dutches the list goes on. The software support that malcom offers is second to none. You are not bombarded with a whole lot of technical talk just down to earth advice and solutions. The videos are really great and if you have 2 monitors it makes life easy as you can run the bot whilst viewing the video. Even the PFD manual is easy to use. Not convinced! please read on:

Are betting bots safe?

I often see post or emails where people make a point of saying that they do not trust bots to do their betting for them and although I agree that there are times when a human could bet more successfully than a betting bot, what I would like to do is discuss the main arguments against using such a tool.

The most popular argument is.
"You can not trust a programme to bet for you"

This is actually almost a laughable argument. If you are betting on the net then you are using several programs that are betting for you. There is the database behind the whole website, there is the programming that brings that information to the website and then there is the interface browser you are using to place the bet through.

Every time you click a button, there are further programs that are used to carry out your instructions.

So unless you are going to walk into a high street bookie or do your betting over the telephone, you have no choice but to use programs to bet for you.

Betting Bots are safe!

There may well be Betting Bots out there that have not been programmed properly but the majority of the well known ones have had stringent testing. Take GHB for an example. GHB is a verified product that works through Betfair's official API.

API stands for "Application Programming Interface" and is a set of instructions that are hosted on a secure (HTTPS:) network that is provided to Betfair's official partners.

GHB has an official Vendor ID because it has passed through Betfair's security test which has verified it works properly and securely with their API.

Another argument is:

"Betting Bots could easily bet away, all of my bank."

GHB comes with several features that you can set to tell the bot to stop if you have reached or exceeded a certain loss value and/or a number of losses in a row or over a period. Stop Loss was the first thing we put into GHB!

Now that we have seen the arguments against using a betting bot, let us now look at some of the reasons why it could be a good idea to use one.

In all my years in this industry the one thing I seen over and over again is that people do not use their head when betting, to often you see people do silly things because their emotions take over.

So often you see people taking a loss and then just making another silly bet to try and get that back. I bet you have, or you know of someone who has lost on a "lay" bet and then tried chasing their losses on the next race, only to lose again and sometimes again.

Also how often do you have an odds range in your head that you do not want to exceed or go under but then an opportunity comes up and you just can not resist taking the chance with an extra few points. Betting bots like GHB can be configured to only bet with in your range and won't go outside it.

Betting bots are not emotional they do what you tell them to do. If you only want to bet on one race, then that's what they will do. If you want to stop after one loss or even one win, that's what they will do.

Most people complain that they don't have enough time to bet. Betting bots like GHB can automate your betting so you don't have to be there to place your bets. You just tell it what to bet on, the price range and if you want to, you can configure a number of other variables and then just click "start", GHB will do the rest.

Another really good thing about using a betting bot is its speed. Especially "in running" where a betting bot like GHB has a far better chance of seeing the odds or the pattern you are looking for and making the bet in time, while the odds are still available.

I could come up with another dozen reasons why I think betting bots have their place. I am not saying that they suit every style of betting but what I can not agree with is, that "they can not be trusted".

Check out GHB to see a good quality product that has an official Betfair Vendor ID.
