Sandown Comment/ Ratings

The Sandown Guineas
From a punters perspective 3 year old races like this are not the easiest to pick a winner from, but let’s see what we can come up with.
Stokehouse Craig Williams for David Hayes found form over the 1800m trip in the Myer fashion Stakes last start.
Current favourite Caymans Kerin McEvoy for Peter Snowden has been knocking on the door with a 4th in the G3 carbine Club Stakes, a 3rd in the Winning edge 3 yo Cup and 2nd in the AJC Ming Dynasty
Also in the betting is Lucky Thunder Dwayne Dunn for Danny O’Brien running second in the Carbine Club
The other horse that seems to have improved is Marveen Luke Nolen for Robert Smerdon. She won the Lexus Fillies stakes last start. She is a winner at this track back on the 24/11/07 nearly a year ago in the 1000m Merson Cooper stakes.
Arjuna M Rodd for John Collins ran 2nd in the Hilton International Stakes in her 2nd start as a 3 y old.
These are my top four from this race and I think I will put Lucky Thunder on top to take out this event.

The Sandown Classic
This race is more like it and I am going to put Zipping on top to win with the trip a lot more suitable and also the fact he has won at the 2400m here at Sandown before is a big plus. I just think this is his race. For second I am going to nominate Baughurst another proven performer at Sandown and with a 1.9 length 3rd last start he should be right up there at the finish again. Third place I think we put in Light Vision also another proven performer at Sandown over this distance.
